One Spirit. One Soul. One God. One Will. One Purpose. SIMPLIFIED!

There is only One Spirit. No matter what term you speak of, what life exists on whatever plane of the universe, there is only ONE SPIRIT. It is the Spirit of GOD. Our Maker. All things are a fragment of this ONE SPIRIT. Through Him it was created and through Him it's existence is possible.

We, are a fragment of God’s Spirit. God's Spirit is also known my many as our SOUL. He lives inside of each of us, we just have to give heed to His stirring. When man, through exercising the free will given to us by God, chooses to misdirect the Spirit and divert the power into selfish channels of personal aggrandizement, rather than toward the expression of its original impulse (God’s Will and the glorification of the Creator), then is when sin comes into existence!

There are so many various people who believe in different things. Many say that they do not believe in God, but instead give acknowledgment to "some Supreme being or force." If you listen to them speak of their beliefs and understandings, it will often times sound a whole lot like they do apply the same concepts, values, beliefs and morals as Christians do. Some will tell you that they believe in a "Universal Energy" - such as the Native American's. Others will say Karma, etc... etc...  But when it all comes down to it, no matter what you want to name it-- there is only ONE CREATOR, ONE SUPREME BEING, which is responsible for all things of Life and it is God. God is the UNIVERSAL SUPREME Spirit of Earth and all other life forces.

There is no way of denying His existence. There is no way in claiming to believe all other things, but Him. You can not even speak of and give notice to the presence and existence of evil without acknowledging God's existence because if it was not for Him... there would be NO EVIL. No, he did not create nor intend for the EVIL. But he created life, then created free will... which then, unfortunately was taken advantage of resulting in Lucifer (Satan, EVIL) and his followers of fallen angels.

This is the platform for which my spiritual journey stems and continuously returns to. It does not matter if I am studying the bible of Christianity, Native American tradition and beliefs, Zen or anything else... it ALWAYS leads me back to MY GOD. And no matter what exploration I might come upon, what beliefs I might weigh and consider, if it is not in line with God as a universal creator and the ONE LAW that is HIS ULTIMATE WILL (An abundance of LOVE FOR ALL)... I can not apply it in my life.

While I do not give way to man-made beliefs or dogmas... I do believe that all things GOOD are the will of God. I do not choose to complicate my life and my journey of striving for His perfection and purpose by adding silly rules that just don't matter or make sense. I embrace an overall idea of Christianity and belief in God. It is one that is simple and just includes all things LOVE. Service to others. Helping. Loving. Reaching out. Living simple. Being humble. Giving glory and thanks to our Creator (as we wouldn't be here without Him). Searching for and Embracing the presence of Him in my life through synchronicity, etc... Everyone needs to stop making things so complicated with words of the bible this and that (and then doing the opposite) or following some rules and not others, as it becomes so discouraging to those who are just arriving... it is so confusing to others who do not have the knowledge already. Therefore, if I walk in my daily life, as an example of Jesus Christ... keeping things simple, it makes it easier for others to follow!

Some traditional Christians may not agree with some of the things that I declare, but I am not here to perfect MY RELATIONSHIP with God to anyone else's standards. I am here to seek out and strengthen a PERSONAL INTIMATE relationship with MY GOD! And as long as I am living by the ultimate law of Love and applying his ten commandments to my life, none of the rest of it really matters.

My Christian Exploration Journey of Being an "Empath" and having the gift of "Knowing"

For as long as I can remember, I have believed in God. My mother used to tell me that I was her angel, sent to her as a gift from God. My father was raised in a traditional Catholic Family, where he went to church regularly. From a young age, I was given the option of believing in God. It was never forced on me; however, it was strongly encouraged. I am glad that this is the case, for I am not sure where I would be in life without my belief in God.

I was baptized as a baby in the Lutheran Church, only because it is the one that my parents were a member of at that time in their life. Then when my father began going to church again at St. Pete’s Catholic Church, he signed me up for confirmation classes, first communion lessons, etc… at the Catholic Church. There have been many faiths that I have observed and/or experienced through the lessons of those around me. I have never been excited about religion as a whole, but rather I have always been curious to understand the underlying concept of God because He is the root of all religions and spiritual matters.

I figure that while religion may be the dictation of man, in how to worship or apply God in your life… God is absolutely real because He is the one thing that all men, no matter what religion, agree upon! There are many different types of “Spirituality” that are practiced by man here on Earth. But when you pick them apart and look at the various belief systems acquired, the basis of them are usually all stemmed from the same basic beliefs, no matter what terms they may use to define or explain them.
I was allowed to experience God on my own. I was allowed to attend whatever church I found interesting. I was allowed to freely explore my own Spirituality and acquire my own belief system. My father always guided me and always did his best to answer any questions that I had, but he NEVER told me what I should believe. He told me what he was taught, what he learned through his own experiences and what beliefs he had that gave Him comfort. I am eternally grateful for this, as I don’t know where I would be without it. Too many times, children who are forced to believe in God and practice as tightly wound Christians at a young age, actually grow into adults that end up resenting God and turn into agnostics or atheists.

I have applied the same strategy with my children. I educate them on my active Christianity morals, values, beliefs, etc… and allow them to think and draw their own conclusions. I leave an open ended forum for discussion about things and trust and know that God will lead them in the right direction. We must not force adult spirituality on children, but we must at least give them the seed of His existence in their lives. If you never know that something exists, then you never explore knowledge regarding that something.

I am only in my early 30’s and there is still so much that I feel I have to learn about God. My spirituality journey will be never ending, as I will always seek to know and understand Him and His will better. I will continue to strive to gain wisdom and knowledge to apply to my life. So while I feel that I live by means of a solid Christian value system, I still only feel like a “baby” in Christ. God’s wondrous works and presence in the world is so huge that it is hard to believe that I will ever know the full picture of it all. But while I am alive, I will always strive to try and reach a full understanding, a grasping of the whole picture, to share with others.

Man-made religions have various beliefs and understandings. It can become very confusing to us, seeking out God, to apply and know what it is truly of God and what is only of man. My perspective, I choose to leave religion aside and only seek an intimate and solid relationship with God.

My spiritual journey was fueled from a self-exploration process that I embarked on. For as long as I can remember, I have experienced things such as dreams that come true, an innate knowing (or intuition) that is so strong, it’s undeniable and a constant desire to heal others. I began seeking to understand these things through a psychology degree that teaches me the workings of the human body, mind and emotions; but, that is not what has given me the most understanding. What has given me the most comfort in not feeling like I was “weird” or “crazy” is seeking God and his various gifts and abilities that He gives to man to achieve His ultimate Will for human kind.

This blog will be a sharing of experiences, research, etc… that will attempt to explain spiritually and scientifically why I am an “EMPATH” who burdens the pain and feelings of others and why I experience “KNOWING” that others do not possess. I hope that you will find my blog invoking of thought and spiritual exploration.           God Bless to all,   Miranda Rhuda

Don't Talk About IT -- Start Living IT!

I had totally forgotten that I had started my Spirituality blog. Actually, I had forgotten about blogging altogether. But my spiritual journey that I started, almost 2 years ago, is still in process. There is so much to be learned about God, the various aspects of Jesus Christ, etc...

When I began my Search for God, I did not have the clear picture of Him that I do now. Like so many other people, I did not know "HOW" to pray or what to say to Him. And now, I have come to the realization that there is no "right" way to pray to Him. I started a group on Facebook called I NEED PRAYER SUPPORT GROUP.  The reason for starting it was because so often in life we see someone going through a hard time and we say "I'll pray for you" but then we go about our day and forget. So many of us live, so caught up in our own lives, that we do not spend enough time focusing nor offering assistance on fellow man. The prayer group is the idea that if someone asks for prayer, that you immediately pray for them. So if someone posts a need, you comment, reply with a prayer to God. This offers support and hope to those in need of comfort. It is our job as Christians to pray for our fellow human kind.

We need to stop claiming to be Christian. Stop talking about wanting to do good and start acting on it. It is my personal life goal to do all that I can to start living like a REAL CHRISTIAN... Walking through my life like Jesus Christ did. I want to provide help, hope, love, patient, peace and support to everyone I cross paths with in life. I hope to have others join me in this journey of leading by example!

Stop talking about being Christian. Start living like it TODAY and EVERY DAY... Join us on Facebook and follow my blog! I plan to share stories of "synchronicities" that prove the existence of God and his answered prayers. I want to post stories of Angels that make a difference in others lives... If we just take some time to examine our lives and focus on God, we will see Him in everything around us!

We need to start being God's warriors in this CRAZY SINFUL DISTURBING world that we live in. We need to start bringing HIM back in everything and making the difference. Don't just talk about how CRAZY and AWEFUL the world has become, start taking action to change it. Jesus didn't talk about doing things, he just did them as the time came in His life.

God Bless!

Personal Relationship with God Bible Study Quick Reference

I have a really awesome daily study bible for women; it is a new living translation bible. I want to share the Study and Reading Tracks that are in my bible, so I have written documents to provide some recommended reading based on the topics that I have seen prayer requested. Please feel free to copy and paste, share, print, whatever… ENJOY!

Personal Relationship with God

·       Genesis 5 says, “When God created people, he made them in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and he blessed them and called them human.” Genesis 5 also speaks about the various chosen men who started human population and how they were fruitful because they had a close relationship with God throughout their life, such as Enoch, who had a very personal relationship with God, and then God took him. ** Reference the hidden and removed Book of Enoch from the bible, it talks about Enoch’s relationship with God and his prophecies based on what God shared with him.*

o   A personal relationship with God means communicating with him as we would any other person in our life that we maintain a relationship with. We must discuss our hurt feelings, disappointments, misunderstandings and joys with God. He likes it when you ask questions and does not mind you revealing your upset with him… because if you are doing these things, it means you are reaching out to him and that is exactly what he wishes for you!

o   STUDY JOURNAL QUESTION: Do we enjoy this kind of closeness with God? How? If not, why? What do we need to build our relationship up with him?

·       Genesis 6 says, Noah was a man favored by the Lord, like Enoch. Why? Because he knew what he needed to do to please the Lord, from having a personal relationship with him. To build a personal relationship with God, we first need to find out what we need to do to please him… far too often, we are simply worried about how He can please us. But scripture tells us that God wants us to be interested and committed to Him and holy living, not just the gifts that He gives and what He can do for us (Prov 8:30). Scripture throughout the bible tells us how to please God. God delights in people who are truthful (Prov 12:22) Living righteous, according to what pleases God is not as hard as some think… He does not expect us to be perfect; he made us imperfect and loves us as so. We can either be a pleasure or a pain to the Lord (as Genesis 6 says, the Lord’s heart was broken by all of the evil deeds of man). It is often hard to be righteous if we are surrounding ourselves with others who do not behave that way. We need to carefully consider who we expose ourselves to when choosing to make a commitment to the Lord. It makes it much easier to live a righteous life if we are surrounded by righteous people.

o   STUDY QUESTION: Do we care more about pleasing ourselves and others than pleasing God? What do your actions display?

·       Isaiah 42 tells us, Only through a relationship with Jesus Christ can you have access to God, the creator of the universe. We must know and understand Jesus in order to build a relationship with God. Isaiah 42 says, “Look at my servant Whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, and I am pleased with him. I have put my spirit upon him. He will reveal justice to the nations.” John 14:6 tells us that Jesus is the way to having a relationship with God. He is also the man that Christian morals and principles are based upon, so if you have not read about the works of Jesus Christ… how can you mimic those actions? Isaiah 42 tells us that His servant “will be gentle, will not shout or raise his voice in public, will not crush those who are weak or quench the smallest hope, he will bring full justice to those who are wronged, he will not stop until the truth and righteousness prevail throughout the earth?” (42:20 says, “You see and understand what is right but refuse to act on it. You hear, but you don’t really listen.” – Do these qualities describe you? -

o   We are servants of God, just as Jesus was. We are chosen by God, just as Jesus was (1 Peter 2:4) John 17:24 tells us, “You loved me even before the world began.”

o   Do you know who Jesus really is? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Do you really understand the things He did or you’ve just heard stories?

o   God says he strengthens his servant, I want to get my strength from the Almighty, how about you?

·       Luke 15, tells us that God allows us to have the choice of sinning and turning away from him or choosing to be righteous and obey him. He respects us and gives us the dignity of choice. GOD does NOT punish us for not obeying his laws. Sin is EVIL in nature and has negative consequences, which is the whole reason that God wants us to make the most of our life and do what is right and good! Luke 15:7 says, “Heaven will be happier over one lost sinner who returns to God, than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed.” 15:10 “there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents!”

o   Living life in a rebellious manner to God’s laws is wasting your life because it takes away good from your life and brings distress. True repentance for sinful ways leads to forgiveness. Any time we are walking with God and we slip up and do something sinful, we need to recognize it, repent with true sincerity in our hearts (trying not to do it again) and he will ALWAYS forgive us. God will never ignore you or turn you away!

o   Have you felt like you are lost trying to find your own way through life? If so, consider letting God drive… do the things asked of you by God and he will provide strength to you as his servant.

·       Ephesians 1 says, “How we praise God, father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms BECAUSE WE BELONG TO CHRIST.” – If we want blessings from God, we must first be a blessing to him by devoting our lives to serving the Lord by doing good, being obedient servants to Him. Ephesians 1:8 says, “He (God) has showered his kindess on us along with all wisdom and understanding. God’s SECRET PLAN has been REVEALED to us and it is centered on Christ designed according to his good pleasure.”

o   What is God’s Plan? Eph. 1:10 “And his plan is, at the right time to bring everything together under the authority of Christ – everything in heaven and ON EARTH.” “Furthermore, we have received and INHERITANCE from God, for he chose us FROM THE BEGINNING and all things happen just as he DECIDED LONG AGO.”

o   God Saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, who he promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us everything he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people.”

o   Eph. 1:16, “ I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called.” 1:19, “I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him.”

o   When we are tempted to think that God is not fair, we have to remember that God only does what is good. So when you think he is being unfair it is because he loves you infinitely and has chosen something much better for you.

Spiritual Encouragement with the Supernatural Works of the Holy Spirit

Today, I am beginning the writing of my first book and blog. After much thought about writing a biography and sharing my experiences, I have decided that I need to share with people all the things that God has done for me. I have realized, through much conversation and prayer, that it is my testimonies about God’s intervention in my life that has had the most profound effect on others. I am so open about my faith and reliance on God that I have friends and acquaintances who consistently look to me for spiritual uplifting. When they are looking for a lift in spiritual passion, they always say to me, “Tell me something that God has done in your life recently.” What they really mean when they say this to me is that they want to hear a supernatural story about God’s intervention. It cannot just be any story that involves a prayer and an answer, but rather a story that is absolutely UNDENIABLY the Lord’s supernatural works in my life… The kind of story that you cannot explain any other way than to admit it was God’s hand at work! I have so many of these stories because I have journalized them throughout the years so that I could flip back through the pages of my journal and feed my spiritual passion by remembering all that God has done for me. It is spiritual food and uplifting for me and I want to share it with others as well.

Journalizing and writing began when I was young, but my documentation of God’s works in my life did not occur until I had my first child, at age 18. When I became a mother, my father bought me a Mother’s Devotion Journal, so that I could rely on God and include spirituality in my parenting. When I first received the journal I was so excited, but I had absolutely no idea how important it would become. We always remember the special circumstances that occur in life whether they are a time of great joy or profound sorrow, but just remembering them is not enough if we really intend to use our experiences for something more. Recording our experiences, our daily life, by journalizing allows us to capture the feelings, emotions and thoughts that occur during that time period. Looking back in my journals allows me to remember with great detail what I experienced with emotions included. Reading the pages again and again makes me appreciate where I am in life and gives me motivation to move towards better things. Most importantly, the pages in the journals remind me that I am never alone in life, no matter what is happening, God is always right there! It reminds me of how many times I have been at the depths of despair and He has seen me through to brighter days! It continuously reminds me that I need to TRUST IN GOD 100% to escape the worry, anxiety and sadness of life’s negative experiences.

My Spiritual Journey Begins (My Walk With God)

The Lord is so amazing! He never forsakes his people. He always fulfills his promises. Trust in the Lord and put all your faith in Him and you will see AMAZING works in your life. I am only 29 years old and I have seen so many blessings from God in my life and the lives of others that I feel like I have lived 100+ years!

Each of us has a story to tell, some more intriguing than others, some sadder than others and some more of a success story. I have always wanted to tell my story, but I was unsure what to say, how to say it and questioned whether or not anyone would really want to hear it. When I focused on trying to write my life story and how to portray the life lessons involved, it seemed like I could never really put it into words. But I was looking at it the wrong way, I was making it harder than it needs to be, I was leaving out the most important part, God.

Since I was a teenager, maybe younger, I have enjoyed writing. I was always doing some kind of writing whether it was letters to family and friends, poetry or journalizing my day. I have saved many of these letters, journal entries and poems throughout the years. I decided that rather than trying to write and publish an official biography, with proper English and grammar usage, I would just use my various writings to compose my story.

My life has not been exceptionally hard in comparison to others, but it has not been the picture perfect life either. I have been through enough trials and hardships to be able to tell a few stories and lessons learned in my short, almost, 30 years. More important than the lessons learned or the actual experiences of my life is the wonderful works behind the scenes, the works of God. My faith has been solid since I was old enough to remember. I have always had God in my heart, but it was not until I was in my late teens and early twenties that I really began to understand what God was really about! I am going to write my story based on the Spiritual perspective that I have now in my life, rather than trying to recant the mere experiences that I have been through. I am giving God all the Glory in this blog, as it is He who has made me who I am today!

This blog is intended to make people think about God. It is intended to raise questions about whether or not life is just a sequence of coincidences. It is made to give others a spiritual uplifting and hope in reading what God has done for me in my life. And I hope that when you read my blog, you decide to walk some of the paths that I have taken and find your own way to the wonderful works of God in your life. If you have not already done so, pick up a notebook because when you read this blog, you will want to journalize as I have and document God’s wondrous works in your life!

Battling with Your Enemies?

(Book of Deutoronomy)

SCRIPTURE READS: "Do not fear your enemy- instead deliver them unto the Lord and he will inflict proper justice upon them."

This scripture backs the phrase that we have heard many times... "Just Give It To God."
I believe that this is important for keeping your stress level lower and for keeping revenge or self pursued justice in check. This is one of my favorite scriptures because I have lived a situation where this one was very important to me...

MY STORY: One time in my life, there was a group of two or three malicious individuals in my life. These individuals were ones that unfortunately I could not choose to just "banish" from my life. I worked with them, so without quitting my job, I was stuck dealing with it. These people were mean, they talked about me, insulted me, tried to get me demoted at work... and much much more. It got to the point where I would cry almost every day, in the bathroom at work and when I came home. The emotional and mental stress of it was affecting my job and breaking my spirit. So I took the concerns of mine to a Christian friend of mine and she said you have to stop TREADING on it... stop OBSESSING over it... STOP trying to figure out HOW TO FIX IT... you can't change people... so JUST GIVE IT TO GOD. If you pray to the Lord and you trust in him, that he will do right by you, as you are doing right by him... he will assure that they get what is coming to them and you will conquer your enemies without doing or saying anything.
I wasn't quite convinced, although it did sound really good to be able to just "let go" of it like that...
So she gave me a CD, Deitrick Haddon, and had me listen to the song, STAND STILL... (here are the lyrics)

There is trouble at every sight,
so bad you wanna run and hide.
Your enemy is out for you
and you don?t know why.
It takes all your strength
to hold back your tears,
but you know you gotta face your fears,
let me whisper a word softly in your ears.
Stand still and know that He is God;

and there's no need to fight,
the battle is not yours,
the battle is the Lord's.

Your enemies don?t know what they will do
when they declare war on you.
Don't you think by know
they would have figure out
the Lord will always see you through.
There ain't no reason to live in doubt,
God has already worked it out;
so stand back and move out of His way,
'cause He will bring a brighter day.

Listening to that song, I was moved to keep on living by "christian" standards, doing good by others, kill my enemies with kindness and let go of the anger and resentment that was eating me alive!
By letting go of the resentment and anger and believing that the Lord would resolve it and had already worked it out, I stopped letting them UPSET me... I was no longer made miserable by letting them have the satisfication of bringing me down... and don't you know THEY STOPPED!

So when you are fighting tooth and nail with someone, step back, let go... kill them with kindness and trust that the issue will resolve itself. But others can not make you upset unless you allow them to!!
